The Pineal Eye ︎

I was invited by the art curation group "Djinn Puddle" to design the visual identity for their exhibition "The Pineal Eye", held at the Goethe-Institut in Beijing. The Goethe-Institut is a cultural institution of the Federal Republic of Germany that actively engages in cultural activities worldwide. The exhibition revolves around the themes of "Liminal" and "Liminal Space." By simulating the grey box space itself as a liminal space, the exhibition explores the symbolic and material tension of lim inal spaces and examines their potential to subvert our understanding of contemporary reality. Throughout the project, I was responsible for all aspects of visual design, including poster design, exhibition catalogue design, and spatial identity design. I worked closely with the curators from the initial concept and design stages through to the final printing process. The exhibition was held at the Grey Box Space in Beijing's 798 Art District from 4 December 2021 to 20 February 2022. ︎
